吴炯
(阿里巴巴集团CTO，兼雅虎中国CTO)

 

 

2000年5月加盟阿里巴巴。此前，吴先生于1996年4月加入美国雅虎公司，并主持公司搜索引擎和电子商务技术的开发。吴先生是具有强大功能，效率卓著的雅虎搜索引擎及其许多应用技术的首席设计师。1999年11月23日，吴先生作为唯一发明人，获得美国授予的搜索引擎核心技术专利。吴先生还主持了雅虎电子商务基础软件系统的设计和应用。加盟雅虎之前，吴先生在Oracle公司任服务器技术部发展经理。吴先生曾在Medicus Systems公司担任咨询顾问，在RAD Technologies公司任职软件工程师。

 

John Wu
(Chief Technology Officer)

 

Mr. Wu brings a wealth of technical and management expertise to Alibaba through his many years of work in Silicon Valley. After joining Yahoo! Inc. in April of 1996, Wu directed the company's search and e-commerce technology engineering team. He is the chief architect of Yahoo!'s directory search engine and its many applications. Mr. Wu also led a team of engineers and technical professionals in the design and implementation of Yahoo!'s e-commerce technologies, which have now been deployed in over a dozen of Yahoo!'s e-commerce services.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, Mr. Wu was the development Manager at Oracle's Server Technology Department. Mr. Wu received a BS degree with High Distinction from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, majoring in Computer Science.
